I was intrigued by this sticky material which can create organic shapes, depending on how you move it and which form you want to give to it.
I started to combine metal and glass wax.
The result was little sculptures, of different shapes. The interesting part of working with glass wax is the malleability and the adaptability that this fragile medium has.
Combined with a hard material like copper these sculptures were a juxtaposition of hard and soft, rigid and organic.
When lit with artificial lighting the result was that of a light illuminating crystal-like organic forms formed over thousands of years. A light outside a cavern or a light art the end of a tunnel.
