Two discs of color effect glass are suspended from the ceiling and rotate slowly in the beam of a powerful spotlight. Only a limited range of the spectrum of visible light can pass through each disc, while light from the remaining range is reflected. As a result, spots of complementary color are cast on the walls o the Dining room. Because the slow-moving disc is not synchronise , these projected areas of colours wander, meet, coincide and overlap generating a seemingly endless number of combination of coloured circles and ellipses.

Dichroic glass is glass which displays two different colors by undergoing a color change in certain lighting conditions.

One dichroic material is a modern composite non-translucent glass that is produced by stacking layers of glass and micro-layers of metals or oxides which give the glass shifting colors depending on the angle of view, causing an array of colors to be displayed as an example of thin-film optics

New Berlin sphere is created by two sets of twenty spirals, one set within the other, that coil to form a spherical surface. This work takes as its starting point the CMYK model, a substractive color model that forms the basis for four-color printing.
